Apparently HBO is still working on a signing a director for their mini-series based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's Preacher Comic books. Rumor is Robert Rodriguez is being talked to about project. But it's all hearsay at this point.

To be honest I thought HBO had tabled the idea for this series LONG ago. On the bright side Rodriguez is the first name I've heard associated with this project that's excited me at all.
